ILVA are the Danish equivalent of Marks and Spencers. We were employed by Edmonds Shopfitters to design, manufacture and install four large staircases with balustrade, including structural glass balustrade around the atriums. These bespoke designed staircases had an inner mild steel structural framework which was then completely enclosed with polished stainless steel folded treads, laser profiled stainless steel stringers and a folded stainless steel soffit. The balustrade was toughened structural glass with a stainless steel handrail. A similar contract was also carried out at another store in Thurrock.
