Opened by new Prime minister David Cameron in October 2009, Marriotts Walk in Witney, Oxfordshire is a retail, cinema and leisure complex that also incorporates a large number of private residential apartments.
Premier were employed by Simons Construction to design, manufacture and install a vast array of different products in all areas of the development, from the stairs in the cinema and residential units to the balustrade and Armco barrier in the car park.
We worked closely in conjunction with Simons Design to develop design solutions for these items at concept stage so that good practice was incorporated very early on. This resulted in a very much reduced timescale for the drawing approval process later in the contract when time is of the essence and things need to be issued to manufacture very quickly to keep up with the construction program.
